As a lifetime dog owner, I know the joy having a dog can bring to a family as well as the annoyance, and heartache of having a dog with issues. Dog Savvy was formed after years of training and showing my own dogs as well as working with and apprenticing with some of the top trainers in the country. My dogs have been featured in commercials and print ads as well as working therapy dogs. With a background in teaching, specifically in special education, I am able to not only train your dog to be the family dog you've always wanted but train the owners in how to continue with the training and create the wonderful bond between human and canine. Having competed in various dog sports, I understand how dogs learn and that they are all individuals and the training should be customized for each dog.
